James May’s Glider for Brunel University

Students often come to us with projects to 3D print. You can achieve brilliant results quickly and at a low cost, making it perfect for many student projects!

.

Overview

In 2012 engineering students from Brunel university helped James May build a glider that could fly across the English Channel as part of the BBC program James May’s Toy Stories

The students from the year below them carried the project further, and came to us to create a 3D printed replica of the glider. I think you’ll agree that the replica is equally as impressive as the real thing!
