TV and Film

Props

The martianOver the years we’ve made hundreds of props for film, TV and the stage. These have ranged from Egyptian cutlery in the Exodus, to parts for Matt Damon’s Helmet in ‘The Martian’ and even Phonejacker’s Terry Tibbs’ head scaled down to make an aftershave bottle called ‘Head, by Tibbs’ for C4.

We focus on making smaller items for film, so if you are looking for anything handheld and smaller, we can definitely help, though we are also able to create larger things too.

We have services that can also help with creating the 3D model as well as finishing and painting, so if you’re stuck for time and/or skill set in your production, we’re able to lend a helping hand.

Stop Motion

Grolsch3D printing is a fantastic way to produce models for stop motion animation. The translation from a rendered animation into a printable STL file is relatively simple and can give you the exact models you require for your project.

We’ve produced 3D prints for stop motion for TV adverts, music videos, moving displays and student projects, for companies like Grolsh, Greg Barth (Hello Play) and more.

Camera Accessories

bike cable camMany film sets, nature documentaries, live sports and reality TV shows require bespoke camera mounts and accessories. 3D printing can provide the ultimate solution for your bespoke needs.

We’ve built mounts that have held cameras in the stratosphere and at the bottom of the deepest trench in the ocean and even a cable cam that has been taken up Mount Everest.

Recently there has been a change in regulation that all trackside cameras in a very popular international motorsport have to be in plastic cases rather than metal ones for safety reasons. We were contracted to design and make all the camera mounts for the bollard, curb and pit crew helmet cameras which are now used at prestigious races most Sunday afternoons on live broadcast television.
