Overview – Introducing the Stratasys H350 3D Printer
The Stratasys H350 Selective Absorption Fusion (SAF) machine is the latest innovation in 3DPRINTUK’s Powder Bed Fusion (PBF) portfolio. Featuring advanced thermal control for exceptional repeatability and part uniformity, the H350 also consumes less power and operates with PA11, a sustainable, plant-based thermoplastic, making it our most eco-friendly machine.
What is Selective Absorption Fusion?
The Stratasys H350 uses its patented Big Wave technology for powder application as well as best in class thermal control. Big Wave deposits a large amount of pre heated powder in a single direction allowing for greater thermal uniformity across the build. Combining this with its advanced thermal monitoring system results in increased repeatability and uniformity of parts across the build than competitive machines.

Materials Available
SAF PA11 ECO
We offer Polyamide 11 (Nylon 11), a plant-based polymer free from petrochemicals. PA11 is highly sustainable, strong, and impact-resistant, making it our most durable material.

How does Select Absorption Fusion work?
The SAF process heats a bed of powder close to its melting point. Two sleds pass over the powder: the first lays down powder, and the second deposits a fluid in the part’s cross-section. Both sleds have infrared (IR) heaters that warm the material and fuse the powder where the fluid was applied.
This dual-pass system ensures consistent heat distribution, improving repeatability and enabling the production of thick, dense parts. After cooling, parts are removed from the powder bed, cleaned, and moved to finishing.
