Chiltern Invadex UK initially turned to 3D printing when looking to introduce new Hoist track profile. We found the STL printing method suited our needs to in both quality and accuracy. The subsequent parts giving a physically accurate product that greatly assisted in evaluation and ultimate selection of the final design.

As with most projects  there is often an element that will cause an unexpected delay, often leaving no simple cost effective solution or a product that does not match the original design. In this instance we were able to utilise 3D printing and produce an exact product, as designed, in a short time frame. Once again the final products were more than fit for purpose and enabled us to release the new product on time.

Overview

Established in 1974, the Chiltern brand has been manufacturing equipment in Oxfordshire for over 40 years. In private ownership following acquisition in 2009, family ethos and values are encompassed throughout our business and embodied by our long serving staff in their personable approach and excellent customer service.
