Overview

The parts we made for Veraz were for enclosing and connecting our electronics for the “Badge” part of the VeraMedico product. It’s the part that comes into contact with users most directly, and it was important that it look great, while being robust and easy to work with.
The badge monitors the hand hygiene of medical staff in hospitals using a touch sensor on the back of the lanyard to record data about the cleanliness of users hands. This data can be used to monitor staff, monitor general areas and instantly report staff that breach hygiene protocols, making the environment safer and healthier for both employees and patients and reducing the rick of cross contamination.
The batch of 200 we used in the last clinical trial were fantastic and really made our kit look the business.
3DPrintUK provided a very cost effective way of getting our enclosure designs from the screen to the real world, and were really helpful in making the build up for the trial a success.
